embc and Synetrix have been working to resolve the recent reports of poor internet performance since the start of term. Part of the problem has been Denial of Service attacks on the network including some instances of originating from a small number of schools. Significant measures have been taken to improve security and the stability of the network. Reports from Monday morning 6th October indicate no new issues and stability coming back into the service. embc and Synetrix sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
